1-2 Short Paper: Perils and Hazards.

A hazard such as a severe solar storm can wreak havoc on the electric-power supply and trigger losses from business interruption and damaged physical assets.
Pretend you are a risk manager. If this were to occur at in the next two months, would your company be prepared? If not, design a plan that includes steps or precautions to undertake in order to keep business uninterrupted. (See Guidelines for Submission).

The Texas Department of Insurance publishes data on all the insurance claims closed during a given year. For the thirteen years from 1990 to 2002, the following table lists the percentage of medical malpractice claims closed in each year for which the injury actually occurred in the same year.
